Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority Gateway Project
The Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority (OOCEA) initiated several Gateway Projects to improve mobility in southeast Orange County, Florida. OOCEA contracted with CCI to
install landscaping and irrigation for their first project at the intersection of State Road 417 and International Drive in Orlando. We were selected for this high-visibility,
multi-million-dollar job based on our cost-effective solutions, our experience and qualifications, and our solid bonding capacity.
This project is an excellent example of our full range of services and capabilities:
- Landscape and irrigation installation
- Mass grading
- Installation of drainage/dewatering infrastructure
- Installation of electrical infrastructure
- Concrete pouring
- Pond installation, including assembly and installation of special pond liner

An additional highlight was our installation of two million pounds of imported rock into a dry riverbed for aesthetic effect.
OOCEA was impressed with our performance, including our ability to meet a razor-thin timeline. We also delivered the highest-quality aesthetics and roadside beauty.
Based on these results, the OOCEA also selected us to install landscaping and irrigation on their second Gateway Project — and recently, we were awarded a maintenance
contract to perform system-wide work for them, including landscaping, irrigation and weed & pest control. Our ongoing relationship with OOCEA is based on one thing only:
their complete satisfaction. That's what you can expect from CCI.
